Could an uncircumcised penis harm a woman? -

I was circumcised at birth; however, lately I have been looking into restoring my foreskin. I feel there is something missing on my body and have feelings of anger and hostility about being mutilated without by consent. My girlfriend is dead set against it. She says an uncircumcised penis is potentially harmful because it spreads disease more easily. She keeps giving me all this literature that backs up her claims. Also, she says women like the look of the circumcised penis. Is she correct? Is a circumcised penis healthier and more appealing to women?

never seen one, but I think maybe it was BETTER for a woman. I don t think our Creator intended for the foreskin to be removed.

you re girl friend is being unfair. Its your body, and you were wrongfully harmed. Either she gets over it, or you find a new girlfriend. An intact penis is no more harmful to women than he vagina is to you. If you want some ammunition to give back to her, this site has excellent studies that refute the ones she s given you..... http://www.icgi.org/ I don t see how any amputation is quot;healthierquot; than actually having an intact body. Its certainly NOT healthier for men, and you are missing out on alot of sexual sensation. How is that fair? You take a risk ANY time you exchange bodily fluids or come into close contact with another person. Sexual partners should trust that the other is healthy and not going to infect them regardless. you can still get infections from a cut penis! so long as you keep it clean, intact or restored is just as good, if not better. BTW, studies have shown that circumcision may INCREASE the female partners risk of contracting aids. And STDs appear to occur relatively equally in both intact and cut men. Pioint out to her that if circumcision REALLY stopped HPV that the US would have one of the LOWEST rates in the world- but we don t. Intact, European countries have significantly lower HPV infection rates than we do. -Neb

I didn t know you could restore your foreskin!?, who s foreskin would you be getting, yours was cut off at birth. I think you d better rethink that one. If the uncircumcised penis is not cleaned properly it can be harmful not only to women, but to you as well. I think an uncircumcised penis is extremely unappealing. I also think you need to get over your anger it was done for a good reason.

I have never heard of this procedure before. However, if you feel like a part of you is missing, then do what you think is right for you. It will only quot;harmquot; a woman if you do not take care of yourself, aka shower daily. I personally find it quite attractive on a man because it shows his true self, pure as the way he came into the world. I don t see why people decide to do this to their children :o(

A circumsized penis is more appealing to women, I don t even know if it s possible to get restoring your foreskin. But thats gross ]: It s not harmful, but it might have a bigger chance of spreading disease because you have to clean it more often.

it is no different in how it feels to a girl,if you have for skin just keep it clean, you are your own self and if you want to restore go ahead no harm done,I think doctors should wait until you are at the age to decide for yourself to have it done.

It s your body, you should do what you want. If your girlfriend doesn t like it, that s her problem. Maybe you should find another girlfriend. And unprotected sex leads to the spread of disease, not having a foreskin.

ABOUT THE DISEASE THING... IT IS TRUE.... CUZ BACTERIA CAN HIDE MORE EASILY IN THAT CURVY SPOT.. BUT BEONG SAFE HAS NOTHING TO DO WIT THE PENIS BUT RATHER UR SELF AND THE CHOICES U MAKE TO HAVE SAFE SEX! HOWEVER NOT ALL GUYS R CIRCUMCISED AND IT ISNT HARMFUL TO A WOMAN I MYSELF PREFER AN UNCIRCUMCISED ONE =]

no its not women LOVE foreskin

dont be a dipsh*t If your penis works as is..why mess with it?

No it can t. I think I ve seen this question before. There is no evidence about it spreading disease more easily. Either you have a disease or not. With a disease, it will be passed on most likely, without one, she can t get anything. Besides most diseases are transferred through semen not skin contact. And infections like yeast are mostly about hygiene, and they re easily treated anyway. Besides, you won t have an uncircumcised penis. You will have a circumcised penis with stretched shaft skin. I really don t know what to tell you here - sounds like your gf is one of the girls who prefers are circumcised penis and is ignorant about the disadvantages (less sexual pleasure for both parties) and doesn t understand properly about foreskin and disease. If you can t explain it to her then it may impact negatively on your relationship. But if she really believes all this rubbish and doesn t seem to like you for you, do you really want her? Also, who cares what quot;womenquot; think about a circumcised penis? Personally I think it looks weird and not appealing but why does she worry what other women think of your penis? If it was the penis of a boyfriend I loved I wouldn t care what other women in general may or may not think about it. So it sounds like she s saying she prefers it circumcised. It s fine for her to have her preference but if she really loved you I don t think she d mind.

There are a few recent studies that show that uncircumcised men have higher penile cancer rates and infections. I don t know a lot about the process for regaining your foreskin but I do know that it is a long and sometimes painful process. Personally, I prefer the look of a circumcised penis. It is also more appealing when you are talking about oral sex.

Circumcision is common. Lots of people do it out of religious ceremony. People do it because it s tradition. A man that hasn t been circumcised has a more chance of spreading bacteria to the woman. Bacteria hides in the skin fold, if not cleaned properly, can give a woman a bacterial infection. I would ask a doctor for more information about the topic.

I agree, circumsized men probably have less of a chance of spreading certain diseases, and if your girlfriend likes it that way, then hey, I say keep it.

PEANUT BUTTER!

EWW, listen to your girlfriend, she s right.

yes if kept unclean it can harm
