Why is thier what looks to be blood under the skin of my penis? -

Last night i had sex with my gf. i woke up this morning with a spot on my penis. It looks like it could be a popped vein or maybe a brews. (it may be something else but i don t know) and i got home and it looks even worse. its purple and red in spots. should i be concerned and go see a doctor or something i can do or will it just go away?
