Assuming a perfect circle: Circumference = PI x diameter 4.85 / PI = 1.54 inches
The average circumfrence is a little closer to 5 inches, which translates to 1.5 inches across (diameter). The mathematical conversaion equation is easily found on the Internet. You can plug in the numbers yourself and see.
umm... circumference IS the measurement AROUND. if you want to find the diameter use circumference= 2πR and solve for R. take R and times it by 2 and you have the diameter aka quot;thicknessquot;
I saw the question and was going to answer about an inch and a half, so it was good to see it worked out properly with pi! Any thicker than that, and it doesn t fit so easily into the mouth...
i m just over 5 3/4quot; around, from side to side is wider than from top to bottom, so to answer your question, which number would you be satisfied with the thinnest or the thickest
circumference is the thickness! around the middle when it,s erect, mine is 5 inches.
why the heck are you bothering anyway?? 0_o
Sounds like James got it right
