Guys, do you have less sensation on the top side of your penis compared to the bottom side? -

This is important, I injured my penis but never paid attention to the top and what it feels like, so I don t remember. What fraction (about) does the top-side give you sensation compared to the bottom side? In my memory, the feeling was about 60% of what I felt on the bottom.

It s natural. The base of the penis should feel about the same the whole way around. Towards the top, there s what is called the frenulum, it is slightly lighter and sort of pinched up looking, which should have more feeling than the top part of your penis in the corresponding region.

You probably should see a neurologist. The glans, however, has a higher concentration of nerve endings than the shaft of the penis and is thus particularly sensitive to physical stimulation. Two other areas that are highly sensitive are the rim that separates the glans from the shaft of the penis, called the coronal ridge, and the small triangular region on the underside of the penis where a thin strip of skin called the frenulum attaches to the glans. There is more detailed info out there, if you re old enough to view it.

That s what happens when you are circumcised because the top of your penis rubbs against your pants and makes it less sensitive. Uncircumcised guys are sensitive all around because the foreskin protects the top side from clothing. -Connor

the head of my penis is the most sensitive part
