Is it natural to fart from my penis after I had a foley catheder removed? -

I had a foley catheder removed friday morning, and have repedidly farted (passed gas, air) out of my penis. I told the nurse, and she said she had never heard of that, but yet she didnt alert the doctor. I got home today from the hospital, and passed gas from my penis again. Is this normal?

Be careful......if you are farting out of your penis..you may blow your balls off...

you did not mention why the foley? if you had any type of surgical procedure, laparoscopy, bladder surgery, whatever- you may want to let the doc know about it. you can get air into the bladder by placing the foley and it may exit your penis, but i dont if it should be happening repeatedly

anytime an orfice is violated with a foreign object, it places air into it,, women sometimes quot;fartquot; from their vagina after having sex. While I ve never heard of that either, I can see how it could happen. If it continues, you should call your doc. Good Luck.
