I have a bump on the underside of the saft of my penis. It resembles an ingrown hair? -

I found a bump on the underside of the shaft of my penis about half way down about 2 days ago. It resembles an ingrown hair, which I do have hair that grows there, and it had a head on it. I popped it and a white stringy substance came out. The bump is still there but has gotten smaller. Im concerned of what it might be! I havnt found a hair to pull out yet, but the bump seems to be decreasing in size.

It is entirely possible that this is a pimple, nothing more. It could also be a simple cyst. It could be something more serious, though. My advice would be to get it looked at by a doctor. It is very common for men to get pimples on their penises, but if this is your first one, it may be best that you have it looked at just to be sure. ...and NO POPPING! It s not good for your skin in general, but that also breaks the skin. Considering the location, you don t want the chance of any additional infections to take hold.

As long as it keeps getting smaller, I wouldn t worry about it. it was probably a Little pimple or a clogged pore.

Its probably just a sore spot, light irritation or an ingrown hair, if it continues to go away then I wouldn t worry about it. If it gets bigger or any new symptoms develop see your doctor.
