Why does my circumcised penis still have some skin left? -

I was circumcised about 8 years ago. And until now there s still some skin left hanging on the lower side of my penis. How did this happen? Can this be removed?

Circumcisions vary, but leaving some skin is a good idea, since it allows erections to be accommodated (if too much skin is removed, you could risk painful erections and the skin would be pulled up, so you d have a hairy penis). That, and having a bit of skin reduces the need for lubricants, since you can use that skin to rub the head. For those reasons I wouldn t have it removed; unless it looks mutilated for some reason.

Not all circumcisions are quot;tightquot;, sometimes they are partial. That means that some skin is left in tact. You can have it removed, but there is some pain involved. Paramedic in SC
