Can a boy be born naturally without a foreskin on their penis? -

I am 20 years old. I discovered that I do not have a foreskin on my penis at 19 years old, by looking at pictures of circumcised and uncircumcised penises on the internet. Is it possible that I could have been born without a penis foreskin as a birth defect? Or could I have been circumcised as a child? I do have a dark ring around my penis, with soft skin below the dark ring, and tuff skin above the ring near the glans of my penis. However my parents or doctors never told me if I was circumcised as a child. If I did infact get circumcised as a child without my consent it was cruel.

No, it is not possible. You were circumcised as a child without your consent. The most sensitive area of your penis was cut off. quot;Circumcision removes the most sensitive parts of the penis and decreases the fine-touch pressure sensitivity of glans penis. The most sensitive regions in the uncircumcised penis are those parts ablated by circumcision. When compared to the most sensitive area of the circumcised penis, several locations on the uncircumcised penis that are missing from the circumcised penis were significantly more sensitive.quot; Circumcision cuts off the five most sensitive points on the penis [Touch test sensitivity experiment, British Journal of Urology 2007, copy of report: http://www.nocirc.org/touch-test/bju_668... ]. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) quot;there is little evidence to affirm the association between circumcision status and optimal penile hygiene.quot; [ http://www.circumcision.org/aap.htm ] Hygiene and prevention of disease are among the commonest reasons cited for performing male circumcision. This directory contains references that examine the validity of these claims in detail: http://www.cirp.org/library/disease/ Yes it is very cruel. It is your body and not your parents. Consider consulting an atorney for further options. http://www.arclaw.org/ http://www.davidwilton.net/human_rights/... http://www.norm.org/ http://www.norm-uk.org/ See here: http://www.cirp.org/news/thetyee2006-07-... quot;became the first Canadian man to have a heath-care-funded foreskin restoration. When he was eight years old, doctors at his school performed an operation without his consent. ... successfully sued, and as a result, the B.C. Ministry of Health paid for 90 per cent of the $12,000 operation. Dr. Tinari says he hopes that it will set a precedent for legal action that will eventually end the practice of infant circumcision all together.quot; Please note, while foreskin restoration can result in significant increased sensitivity, the highly nerve inundated area that was the tip of the prepuce can never be regained.

It s possible to be born without a foreskin but it s very very rare (in actuality, it s probably not so much that they re born without a foreskin rather than their foreskin is just really short). But you are definitely circumcised from the way you describe the dark ring and the skin on either side. The ring is the circumcision scar, with the skin on the side near the glans being the remainder of your inner foreskin. The other side of the ring is just shaft skin. Infant circumcisions are cruel because they re always done without consent from the person it s done on. If you want to know for sure if you re circumcised or not, you could just ask your parents or your doctor. But from your description, there s almost no doubt that you are.

no it s not possible to be born without foreskin. And wow 19 and you just figured that out, wheres health class. lol

The dark ring is most likely where you were circumcised.

unless parents otherwise told the doctor not to, circumssion is a lot fo the time APART of the birthing process for males quot;Many hospitals perform circumcision as a routine, some don t even ask, but list circumcision as one step of the birthing process and automatically perform the surgery unless the parents make their wishes known. quot;

No, a boy can never be born without a foreskin. Definitely you have been circumcised as a child. There is nothing that you can do about it now. If you dont like it, you dont do it for your kids whenever you have them! I think God has created us in the right way and there is no need to alter the almighty s creation. If the almighty wanted it to be circumcised, then the boys would have been born that way, already circumcised. But that is next to impossible. Search over the internet and you will find many articles that it is a very painful process which is carried out without anesthesia, because anesthesia cant be applied on babies and it carries no any benefits. However this opinion may differ from some, who take it otherwise. Best wishes

so why, after all this time is this an issue for you? What is, is. And since you obviously don t remember, and no one has said otherwise, I don t see how it could have been a cruelty. I suggest you need to stop obsessing and get on with your life.

no it s not possible

Just call your parents and ask em.
