How did I get a bruise on my penis? -

I woke up and i had a good size bruise on the side of my penis. Its on the shaft seeming to be just on the skin. It is very black and blue, a little purple too, and is about an inch or two long. I have never seen this before and I ve had sex many times and never have had this. Are there any STD symptoms that have a bruise?
