Does the foreskin on an uncircumsized penis keep it from growin more than a circumsized? -

at what age does your penis stop growing?

Actually its the opposite. Circumcision can restrict the penis from acheiving its full length. Especially if it is very tight. No one can tell how much skin will be needed as a child matures and many doctors take a lot off. This can result in curved erections and hair on the shaft, among other negative side effects.

NO! The foreskin is the quot;growing roomquot; a boy will need so that he will not be plagued by painful erections in his teen years, like I was. Removing too much skin is the most common complication of circumcision. Tight to painful feeling erections indicate that the penis is being restricted in it s growth, that is not the only damage circumcision does. Here is a study that shows that men contimplating circumcision should be warned of possible loss of sensitivity before they can give informed consent for surgery. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query... Exerpts from the report: Masood S, Patel HR, Himpson RC, Palmer JH, Mufti GR, Sheriff MK. OBJECTIVES: Currently no consensus exists about the role of the foreskin or the effect circumcision has on penile sensitivity and overall sexual satisfaction. Our study assesses the effect of circumcision on sexually active men and the relative impact this may have on informed consent prior to surgery. Penile sensation improved after circumcision in 38% (p = 0.01) but got worse in 18%, with the remainder having no change. Overall satisfaction was 61%. CONCLUSIONS: Penile sensitivity had variable outcomes after circumcision. The poor outcome of circumcision considered by overall satisfaction rates suggests that when we circumcise men, these outcome data should be discussed during the informed consent process. 2005 S. Karger AG, Basel One out of five men circumcised suffers loss of sensitivity and one out of three is not satisfied with the results, these are not very good odds. This damage is also likely when babies are circumcised but the problems will not be apparent for many years. I would point out that while this study shows that adult men should be warned of the possibility of sensitivity loss before they can give quot;informed consentquot; to circumcision, there is no way that a newborn boy can give his informed consent to an elective procedure that has a greater than 1 in 5 chance of leaving him with an impaired sex-life. His body. His choice.

The foreskin on an uncircumcised penis does not stop the penis from growing, but men circumcised as adults experience significant further expansion of the penis head, round the rim, which flares outwards and makes the head more prominent. Males circumcised as babies grow up with this more flared head from the outset. In most men the penis has finished normal growth by the age of 18. The post-circumcision flaring is additional to normal growth.

No, the foreskin has no effect on penis growth. The penis stops growing at different times for different guys. Some guys it might be 15, other guys don t stop till they re 18 or so.

no its not true growing depends on race some grew till15 and some 18

no it doesnt keep it from growing, 18 or so im sure its full size
